Mod Fx Models Review

Porn and erotica aren't always just about getting off, especially when it comes to the latter, which is often meant to turn you on and tease you. Mod FX Models has more of an erotic than porn edge and is a photography site devoted to softcore and glamour images.

ModFXModels is overflowing with beautiful babes. Aria Giovanni, Tera Patrick and Masumi Max are some of the girls that might be better known to you, but there are also fresh-faced newbies to get you hot and bothered. The homepage is well designed and clean with featured models, videos and daily updates being the first thing you come across. With daily updates, it's hard to imagine anyone not being happy with this site, but again, the content is more erotic than not, and I didn't see any really hardcore type scenes.

There are 74 recent models and another 17 in the archives. They are easily found in alphabetical order, but a search engine for specific features like ethnicity or breast sizes would benefit the navigation. Each model page lists details about a girl's location, country or origin, height, weight and measurements. There's even a short biography and a link to their personal websites if they happen to have one.

A Nicaraguan beauty named Flor Bermudez was the featured ModFXModel during my visit. Similar to the other girls, I found that she had shot 11 photo sets and three movies. Giving my best estimate by judging how many films are on every page in the video gallery, I'd say there are roughly around 170 movies to watch. Some are short, others are much longer, yet most appear to be around nine minutes. The 848Kbps 640x480 .wmv films can be streamed or downloaded, and there are a variety of video styles. Some feature interviews with the models, and others have a music and dialogue track as a photographer shoots scenes that include solo and lesbian models. Films are good quality, but could be better considering that most sites these days feature DVD qualities. I loved the interviews and getting to know a bit more about a chick, but the photo shoot movies were a bit dull to me and not erotic at all. I'd prefer to simply immerse in some softcore model action without the disruption of pose changes or camera shutters clicking.

I had a hotter and better time creating my own fantasies around the photos. Sets include 30 to 50 photos. I really can't say how many sets there are, but assuming that each girl has at least five sets, then I can conservatively estimate a total of over 300. There aren't any zip downloads, nor is there a slide show or even a good browse feature. In fact, the photos open a new page, and to view another picture in a set you need to back click. Still, the 780x1200 are fantastic, though very soft and subtle. Often you get a glimpse of a breast or pussy, but rarely will you see pink. All the images are tastefully sexy. What I especially loved was that bathing suits and lingerie are hugely diverse and I didn't once see the same locations. Photos are crisp and certainly worth downloading, even if you can't get a complete set without going through the motions of downloading every picture in a set.

Final Verdict

You certainly can't say that Mod FX Models aren't completely sexy and stunning. You can sign up for a newsletter and there's an online store, but little in the way of extras and bonuses, so it's a good thing there are enough photos for each model and at least one or two videos for each babe. Still, I found the site didn't really come off as erotic. There were intimate portrayals of the girls in interviews and working their stuff for photographers, but I really found the site lacked the kind of softcore sexiness that turns me on. In fact, ModFXModels seemed almost too professional rather than romantic or erotic.
